More than selling just clothes, Bibaloo sells a lifestyle and, most importantly, this notion of 'French chic' for babies and children. Laurence, the French founder of the company, who has been living in the UK for more than 6 years, gives her view of the very famous French Chic style and how Bibaloo adapts this style for small children.
How do French women and children get that certain city French chic look that you have probably always heard about? Where does this reputation for combining elegance and subtle sophistication to create the perfect look come from? The answer is simple: original pieces that flatter, expertly put together.
French chic is about understanding that every element of the outfit should b

Many of our customers have recognised the quality and efficiency of our filters but some have also asked to be able to filter by sizes available. At Bibaloo we have decided to go beyond their requests and introduce a new feature that allows our customers to immediately check what sizes are available when the mouse rolls over an article. And this has been done without impacting the loading time of the pages. We hope you will enjoy this new feature.

Many customers have already contacted us to ask when the new Clayeux Autumn Winter collection would be online. Unexpected circumstances this season have made that Clayeux is exceptionally late with delivering their boutiques worldwide. To everybody’s satisfaction this is now happening!
The baby range "Clayeux Moi Bebe" is now ready for you to discover on Bibaloo. We selected this season a beautiful ivory baby girl coat and some nice knitted baby boy outfits. The trend is on beige and taupe colours this winter for babies as well. We hope you’ll like it!

Not so Big is the latest Children's Clothing Designer to join Bibaloo. At Bibaloo we really like the originality of their products. Notsobig design and produce their own exclusive prints and fabrics which make their amazing colourful babies and children collection even more original, unique and poetic. You will just not find the same clothes or design in the UK. This creator offers clothes of the highest quality and a particular attention is constantly given to the finishing: contrasting lining, fancy buttons and many other small details that make every piece so special. Notsobig was originally the first concept store for babies and children to open in France in 2002. In 2003 Notsobig became also a prêt-a-porter designer bra

Here you go... it is this time of the year again where the new collections arrive! Yes, it is not yet August and autumn/winter clothes start to flourish in shops and online stores already.
Of course, we all would like to sun bath with our little ones playing around in light outfits, but unfortunately for most of us, the ambient temperature does not necessarily allow it any more… Back-to-school is approaching and we need to think about having a serious look at our boys and girls wardrobe. Does Charlie still fit in his 2-year size navy blue jacket? Hum… I’m sure he needs a new one and I’ll better have a look before his size is gone.
Oh yes! Because believe it or not, these new collections are really exciting and popular. We

Have you ever wondered why clothes manufacturers almost exclusively offer cream and beige-colour garments in their organic range?
Originally organic cotton remained in its natural colour in order to avoid bleaching. This is why the first organic clothes appeared in a not very homogeneous cream/beige colour. Those clothes were not necessarily nicely cut, partly due to the quality of the cotton and also because the pioneer brands in organic cotton were not always focussed on fashion trends.
But things have changed! Innovative techniques were developed to whiten cotton with peroxide and eco-friendly dye. The most famous designer brands have also started to show interest in organic cotton due to an increased public-demand

Linen is the most ancient fabric known in the world: archaeologists have demonstrated the use of woven linen for their clothes by the Egyptians.
It is indeed the most resistant natural textile fibre. Linen clothes last very long while keeping their shape and resist to pilling.
In Europe linen was widely used from the eleventh century, when it was noticed that wearing linen clothes was reducing skin diseases. This has been since medically proven. Linen has got multiple healthy properties. Not only it is hypoallergenic but it does really contribute to the physical and psychological well-being. People generally agree that linen is the most pleasant material to wear. But what lies behind this? linen does not induce any skin ir

Liberty of London: the department store of course… but what really makes this name famous all around the world is the Liberty printed fabrics.
It all started when Arthur Lasenby Liberty in 1875 started to sell ornaments, fabrics and miscellaneous art objects from Japan and the Far East. Liberty & Co. first catered for an eclectic mixture of popular styles, but then went on to develop a fundamentally different style closely linked to the aesthetic movement of the 1890s and Art Nouveau. The company became synonymous with this new style to the extent that in Italy, Art Nouveau became known as Stile Liberty after the London shop!
In the 20ies Mr. Liberty encountered such a success with the Tana Lawn fabric he was selling

Children fashion normally refers to original, elegant and unique clothes for children from birth to 12 years. Designers develop seasonal products ranges (or collections) that might differ significantly in quality and creativity from those offered in supermarkets or large retail stores. Designer clothes are still often manufactured in France (like Clayeux, Petit Bateau, Jubilo, Happy Garden) or in Europe (Yporque, Arsene et les Pipelettes).
Nowadays most of the adult fashion brands have their own children fashion department but, given the specificity of these items, many designers decide to specialise exclusively in baby and children’s fashion. In contrast, some brands like Petit Bateau have become extremely famous and popular

Children’s clothing are relatively recent as until the 19th century children were swaddled and dressed with clothes that were exact miniature copies of adult clothes. During the 19th century the age range concept appeared that allowed the creation and development of real children’s fashion that was originally limited to a dress (both boys and girls) as soon as they could walk. The dress reflected the social status of the father. The classics of this first children fashion are kilt, marine striped all-in-one clothes, school overall...
The tradition of wearing white, pink or blue appeared in the 20th century. Its origin is uncertain, but it is believed that since the middle-ages, red is the colour for women and blue the col
